Procedures - Equity Index Annuities

The August 2005 05-50 Notice to Members describes the responsibility of broker-dealers regarding the sale of Equity Index Annuities (EIA's). The requirement for supervision on EIA's is no different than other products. We will review all new EIA sales for suitability, disclosure and documentation. All new business will require an EIA New Account Form, the EIA application, and the Client Profile Form or Entity Profile Form, (if not already on file).

Please note, that exceptions to this Policy may be granted by KSI Management on a case-by-case basis and must be provided in writing.

Once the business has been approved it will be forwarded to the appropriate Preferred Provider.
